Past Projects

Since the winter of 2006/7 we have planted over 15,000 trees at a wide range of sites across Birmingham.  Planting sites are selected by working with City Council Constituency Parks Managers, Rangers and Park Friends Groups to identify areas needing new trees.  Some planting events are large events with local schools, Friends, volunteers, Councillors and other interested local people taking part, whilst other projects are handled operationally by the local Ranger as part of their day to day work.  Those larger events involving local people are reported in more detail on the pages of past projects, which are listed by Constituency area.
